* Grange, 8 Oct: 'Party woke us at 3am'

(21065) Complaint about noise disturbance at a property in Grange Road in the early hours of 8 October 2021.

Resident says: "We were woken at 03:10 hours by the sound of a loud party across the road. I got up and saw four girls chatting & smoking outside the property. I called down to them to go back in and close the door. They ignored me so I got dressed and went over. I explained why I was there and asked them to go back inside. They replied that they didn't live here but had been been inside earlier. They agreed to move on.

The resident says he also spoke to students in the house, "explaining that this behaviour was unacceptable and contrary to University rules. I would be reporting it. I was very angry because today is a special one for us and we have to drive a long distance from Bristol for an important family meeting."
