(22015) Complaint about noise disturbance at a property in Ashgrove Road, Redland, on 20 September 2022.

(This report originally referred to Westfield Park, as indicated by the complaint below. UoB has investigated and reports that the property involved was most likely one in Ashgrove Road, which backs on to Westfield Park. The text below has been edited accordingly.)

Resident wrote to UoB: "It is very early in term time but we were woken by deafening beat music last night at 11.11pm coming from the Westfield Park area on the bit that bends round towards Whiteladies. I couldn’t pinpoint the property ... I managed to get a bit of video ... which does not do justice to the horrific volume of the music nor how long it went on for. It was taken out of the upper rear window in our house [in] Ashgrove Road looking towards that corner mentioned above."

The resident's video records rapid and very deep beat music overlaid with the sounds of people talking loudly or shouting.
