* West Park, 24 Sep: 'Beech contacted twice'

(22022) Operation Beech was called twice about noise disturbance at a property in West Park, Clifton Down, on 24 September 2022.

Resident wrote to UoB: "The above address had a party on Saturday night with loud voices and shouting in the garden which directly affected me [and two other residents] as our bedrooms are at the back of our property on [x] Belgrave Road.

"Just after 11pm I called out 'excuse me' to the boys in the garden and was told by one of them to 'shut up' to which I replied 'you're telling me to shut up?!' ...

"I contacted the Beech Team, who attended and informed me at 11.43pm that they had spoken to the occupants and they agreed to turn the music down and go inside.

"However, this was short lived with shouting again coming from the garden and causing me to contact Beech again at almost 1am. Thankfully all became quiet by 2am."

In a separate email, the resident also mentioned recently having to visit students at another house in West Park and asking them to make less noise.
