* Waverley, 29 May: 'Operation Beech attended'

(S150) Complaint about noise disturbance involving students from two properties on the north side of Waverley Road on night of 28/29 May 2021.

Resident says: "The noise seemed to start in the garden of number [xx] and, after we sent a message to Operation Beech and the police attended, the majority of the attendees went into number [xx] where the noise continued until about 3am. At about 2am I put my head out of the window and made a complaint because neither my daughter or I could sleep. ... The nuisance is caused not just by music but by loud conversation and by the slamming of car doors when visitors leave ...I have had cause to complain about the students at number [xx] on a number of occasions ..."
