* Warwick, 4 Feb: 'Loud shouting at 4am'

(22058) Further complaint about noise disturbance at a student property in Warwick Road, Cotham, this time on 4 February 2023.

Resident says: "A large noisy party was taking place around midnight, ending with loud shouting from inebriated guests leaving the house between 4am and 4:30am."

The resident reports having spoken directly to the students on several previous occasions to appeal for some understanding, but to no avail.

"Of course, students like to enjoy themselves. But where students reside in local residential areas, the needs of the other residents matter too, and the students ought surely to recognise this and take efforts to respect those needs. Most obviously all residents, not least the elderly and those with young families, need a peaceful night’s sleep."

In a separate email to me, the residents adds: "I am feeling very tired today and my sleep is getting very affected as you never know when you are going to be disturbed or woken up."
