* Stanley, 5 Aug: 'This is not a 'student street'!'

(21036) Complaint about a noisy student party at a property in Stanley Road in the early hours of 5 August 2021.

A resident who lives in Stanley Road reported a house party at the southern end of the street, involving about 25 students from University of Bristol. He later spoke to the students and said they were "polite, well spoken, apologetic and shut it down in 30 mins."

"One thing that was worrying was [a student's comment that] 'it must be difficult being in a student street'. We said it's not! It's a residential street and it doesn't matter if it was a student street - it's not acceptable!"

A second resident, in Roslyn Road, says there was "a hell of a lot of noise" coming from that direction which went on beyond midnight.
