* Stanley, 11 Dec: 'Beech stopped music'

(21094) A resident has complained to UoB about noise disturbance from two student properties in Stanley Road, most recently in the early hours of 11 December 2021.

She wrote to UoB: "We have been more than patient but this week / last night is just too much.

"Number [xx]. Always an issue with not taking rubbish etc in. (Last time was cleared up by our community group, Chandos) however last night huge party. Pissing in the street / against cars and being sick. Operation Beech came and the music stopped but there were people constantly outside loudly talking until 4am. Not great after working a 70-hour week on the front line. Also, huge penis drawn on the door. Not sure we want our children to see this.

Her complaint adds:

"Number [xx]: Since moving in we have been woken up 4 times, always on a Wednesday, by them leaving / losing house key. Always around 3am shouting / banging to get a housemate to wake up and let them in. No apology or understanding that this is not ok. Rude and defiant.

"Please can you speak and visit these houses. This is NOT a student area and they need to understand that they need to be mindful living amongst families. We will be contacting their landlords too."
