* Lansdown, 19 Sep: 'Hyper excited'

(23005) Complaint about noise from students in Lansdown Road, Chandos, on 19 September 2023.

Resident wrote to UoB: "It is just the beginning of term, and already I have the tedious task of trying to get students to respect their neighbours and not make noise late at night in their back gardens.

"I have been kept awake 2 times already by the students at [x] Lansdown Rd. Last night at 11:30 I politely shouted out my bedroom window to please keep their voices down. One girl shouted back ”sorry’, but 15 minutes later the voices were back at the old volume.

"I know that students are hyper excited at the beginning of term, but our houses are very close together, and they must be considerate of their neighbours, and not have to be told, and constantly reminded, to behave responsibly."
