* Horfield Rd, 3 Oct: '3am shouting in garden'

(21064) Complaint about noise disturbance at a property in Horfield Road in the early hours of 3 October 2021.

Resident says: "There was a party going on with pumping music and about 20-30 people in the garden. ... Operation Beech texted back to say they were on their way and duly arrived around 12:30am ... all the party-goers outside were told to be quiet. They did not shut the party down but obviously had a word as the back door was closed and the music became very faint and when I checked at 1am there were only about 10 people left in the garden. Unfortunately as people kept entering in and out of the garden via the back door the pumping music just became intermittent. I put in ear plugs around 1am and managed to fall asleep, although woken at 3am and 4am by shouting/screaming in the garden. My husband, no ear plugs, said the party carried on until around 6am.

I have let the letting agent and UoB know I contacted Beech. We have complained about noise directly to the tenants of no. [xx] previously."
