* Hampton, 22 Oct: 'Loud bass music'

(22041) A second complaint about noise at a property in Hampton Road, between Aberdeen and Abbotsford Roads, this time on the night of 21/22 October 2022.

Resident wrote to UoB: "A large group had gathered in the garden at the back of the house, shouting to each other over the noise of loud bass music. This was very evident through closed double glazed windows from 2300 on. At 1145 the noise was such that I moved to sleep at the front of my house.

"If the occupants are still UoB students please could they be reminded of their obligation to society in terms of not disturbing the peace and other residents' sleep."

This is the second time this address has been cited in a noise complaint this academic year. The earlier incident took place on 30/07/2022.
