* Hampton, 21 Jul: 'Thumping bass'

(21026) Complaint about late-night noise at a property in Hampton Road on 21 July 2021.

Resident says in email to me: "We have just been over to the basement at [xx] Hampton Road (a mandatory HMO licence) where thumping bass has been going for much of the night disturbing [my family]. We sleep at the back across the road ... and the noise even came through my earplugs.

"The lad who answered the door gave us his name and confessed to being a student so we know where to go if there is a next time. He had moved in a week ago and his excuse was that he thought it was a student area."
