* Grange, 9 Jun: 'Kept awake until 2-30'
(S151) Two residents have complained about a loud party at a student house in Grange Road, Clifton, on the night of 8/9 June 2021.
A Grange Road resident says the event "kept us awake until 2:30 this morning ... I first became aware that a party was happening at around 11pm. I could hear people arriving and caught a glimpse of around a dozen entering between 11:20 and 11:30. These are the ones I saw but from the later noises there were more. I complained to [xxxx] and he said that he would keep the door closed and to let him know if the nose was keeping us awake! At 1:35 I had to text [xxxx] to remove a group of party-goers who were sitting on the front stairs chatting away. The noise inside continued until 2:30, at least."
A Mortimer Road resident reported: "We also had a very disturbed night because of the party at [x] Grange Road last night. There was noise from 11.00 pm onwards but it was just about possible to sleep through it. At 12.40 we were woken up, and at 1.20 we moved bedrooms. This is totally unacceptable."
