* Cotham Vale, 1 Jun: 'Repeated complaints'

(22064) Complaint about daytime noise at a student property in Cotham Vale, Cotham, on the afternoon and evening of 1 June 2023. (The complaint includes reference to another recent incident; it is also the second to be recorded against this address this academic year.)

Resident wrote to UoB: "This address has been a pain during the sunny weather: they begged me not to report them on Saturday [27 May] when I went round three times during the afternoon because of about two dozen revellers in the garden accompanied by music which beat into our house ... but they did not manage the noise. I had to go out to avoid it.

"This afternoon the same thing started again; when I went round at 5pm I was patronised beyond belief by someone who doesn't live there then assured by a tenant that they would keep the noise down. This was only temporary ... It is now 8.23 and the noise is as loud as ever. This is, as I have told them, completely unacceptable not only because it makes us unable to use our gardens but we have to shut all the windows in this warm weather and I can still hear everything."
