* Collingwood, 18 Jun: 'Music till 3am'

(21112) Two residents say they were kept awake by a student party in Collingwood Road which lasted into the early hours of 18 June 2022.

Resident1 wrote to UoB: "It’s now after 3am and the party at [xx] Collingwood Rd is still on. I have now spoken to the students 5 times asking them to turn off the music and keep the noise down. ... My family and I cannot sleep with this level of noise."

Resident2 said: "I asked the students 4 times between midnight and 3.15 am to turn off their music, as it was keeping us awake. Early on, the music would be turned down (not off), while later on nothing happened ... I contacted Operation Beech, and I got a text from them (1.15am) saying they had spoken to the students and asked them to turn it down. To no avail. I was kept awake until 3.30am. I have young children who wake up at 6."
