* Clyde Park,19 Sep: 'Loud noise at 1-30am'

(22014) Complaint to UoB and Flatline about noise disturbance at a property in Clyde Park, Cotham, in the early hours of 19 September 2022.

Resident told UoB and letting agents Flatline he'd gone out to investigate noise he'd heard in his house at around 1-30am and traced it to a property 120 yards away: "I stood outside No. [xx] for a few minutes to video/record the location and sound: loud music with people talking loudly/shouting either in the walled garden or in the house with windows open. I knocked several times on the garden gate and got no response; pressing the front-door bell multiple times (I could hear it ringing) got the same result. As I returned to the garden gate, someone opened it and I was able to make contact with the student tenants. I complained about the noise and the time, and noted they were probably breaking their lease agreement, and certainly the UoB code of conduct. They offered to turn the music down. I insisted they turn it off. To give them credit, they did so and it stayed off for the 15-20 minutes I remained in the vicinity."
