► Melville, 1 Oct: 'Shouting and singing in street'

(18007) Resident reports disturbance on Monday night into Tuesday at house on south side of road: "Students at [x] Melville Rd had a noisy gathering with shouting and singing in the street. We could not sleep so I had to get out of bed around midnight. The door to the property was wide open with disco lights in sight. Someone called [name removed] met me at the door and I asked him to stop the noise saying that we don’t appreciate this especially on a Monday night etc. Fortunately, it got better after this or I was just too tired and fell asleep." Resident has sent complaint to the University of Bristol.
