* Collingwood, 2 Oct: 'Beech shut them down'

(21063) Complaint about noise disturbance at a property in Collingwood Road on 2 October 2021.

Resident reports "... two very noisy student parties last night at [xx] Collingwood Road - the basement flat and the upstairs main house/maisonette. They both got in to full flow around 10pm and only stopped around midnight when the police came and shut them down after a fellow neighbour contacted the Operation Beech number. During these hours we were kept awake through loud talking in the street and very loud noise from inside both properties. This is the second noisy party upstairs at [xx] Collingwood Road in the last few months ..."

The resident says he and his wife were away on the first occasion but they understand complaints were made by others.
