* Cotham Vale, 20 Feb: 'Blaring music'

(21102) A resident says he and others were kept awake in the early hours of Sunday, 20 February 2022, by a loud party at an address in Cotham Vale that has attracted at least two previous complaints.

The resident wrote to UoB: "Again, I and my neighbours in Trelawney Road were kept awake until the early hours of Sunday morning ... because of the loud shouting and blaring music from students in [xx] Cotham Vale.

"They have forgotten the serious warnings they received in the summer about this. It is the same students, because they have the same flashing lights to go with the sound system in the back garden.

Cotham Vale's gardens join Trelawney Road gardens and therefore face our bedrooms.

"I did text Operation Beech just after 1am asking if they could pay a visit, but had no response. ..."

"These events do take their toll on the mental and physical health of quite a few [of] our neighbours who are old, unwell or otherwise vulnerable."
